โรคหลอดเลือดปอดประกอบด้วยภาวะหลักสองชนิดได้แก่ ภาวะความดันหลอดเลือดปอดสูง (pulmonary hypertension) และภาวะลิ่มเลือดอุดกั้นหลอดเลือดปอด (pulmonary embolism) ซึ่งทั้งสองภาวะถือเป็นความผิดปกติที่พบได้ยาก หากแต่ทั้งคู่เป็นภาวะที่ส่งผลกระทบทั้งต่อระบบหัวใจและหลอดเลือดและระบบการหายใจของผู้ป่วยพร้อมกันโดยซับซ้อน ซึ่งการดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วยกลุ่มนี้จำเป็นต้องอาศัยทั้งความพร้อมในการตรวจทางห้องปฏิบัติการต่าง ๆ หลายประเภทและทั้งความเชี่ยวชาญของบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ผู้ซึ่งทุ่มเทในการจัดการกับภาวะที่จัดการได้ยากเช่นนี้
Pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) includes two major conditions: pulmonary hypertension (PH) and pulmonary embolism (PE), both of which often affect the cardiovascular and respiratory systems simultaneously. Although PVD is relatively uncommon, its diagnosis and management are complex, requiring specialized equipment and the expertise of trained medical personnel.

พวกเราให้บริการทั้งการตรวจวินิจฉัยและการรักษาโรคหลอดเลือดปอดโดยเฉพาะเจาะจงอย่างครอบคลุม ซึ่งการบริการที่สำคัญประกอบด้วยดังนี้
- การตรวจสวนหัวใจห้องขวา (right heart catheterization)
- การรักษาลิ่มเลือดอุดกั้นเฉียบพลันในหลอดเลือดปอดด้วยวิธีผ่านสายสวน (catheter-based therapy for acute pulmonary embolism)
- การรักษาลิ่มเลือดอุดกั้นเรื้อรังในหลอดเลือดปอดด้วยวิธีผ่านสายสวน (balloon pulmonary angioplasty for CTEPH)
- คลินิกผู้ป่วยโรคหลอดเลือดปอด (PVD clinic) โดยให้บริการตรวจคลื่นเสียงสะท้อนหัวใจ (echocardiography) การเดินหกนาที (six-minute walking test) และการรักษาด้วยยาจำเพาะต่อภาวะความดันหลอดเลือดปอดสูง (pulmonary hypertension-specific drugs)
We provide comprehensive investigations and treatments for pulmonary vascular disease (PVD). Our key services include:
- Right heart catheterization
- Catheter-based therapy for acute pulmonary embolism
- Balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA) for chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH)
- Outpatient PVD clinic, where echocardiography and the six-minute walk test are performed when necessary, and pulmonary hypertension-specific medications are prescribed for optimal treatment.

คลินิกโรคหลอดเลือดปอด คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เกิดจากการรวมตัวกันของบุคลากรทางการแพทย์จากหลากหลายสาขาวิชาชีพ ทั้งแพทย์ พยาบาล เภสัชกร และนักกายภาพบำบัด โดยพวกเราทำงานร่วมกันด้วยความมุ่งหวังที่อยากให้ผู้ป่วยโรคหลอดเลือดปอดทุกรายได้รับการวินิจฉัยที่ถูกต้อง รวดเร็ว และได้รับการรักษาที่ดีที่สุดเท่าที่จะเป็นไปได้
The Pulmonary Vascular Disease Clinic at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, was established by a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and physiotherapists. To combat these challenging conditions, we are committed to providing timely and accurate investigations and treatments, aiming to deliver the most effective and optimal care for our patients.
